hard to read text on maps

Hi, I called in yesterday about this issue however tech support recommended I post here.

Everything works great however there are two things i've noticed with regards to the navigation.

    1. GPS doesn't update on the screen as often as i am used to. Sometimes it doesn't even show you near the next street until you pass it. My screen refresh is set to default (i believe 15fps).

    2. This one is the most frustrating. The text on the maps (not the directions) is very difficult. It is very blocky and if i didn't know the names of the streets around me...i'd never be able to figure out what they were. Also note the lines on the streets seem to be the same. Seems to be how the maps are drawn. I'm running 800x600. Any suggestions please?

    Thanks

GPS smoothing adds up to a 1 second second. You can turn this off in navigation options.

The text on the map is a known issue, it is a limitation of the mapping engine.

A known issue? Your screenshots all look great, yet I can hardly read a thing it says on my screen?... am i missing something?

I'll try changing that option to see if it fixes the delay

Did you change the size of the text in the navigation options?
