it would be nice to have different navigation background road view.
the "day view" of the navigation background doesn't look that good. the tiny lines indicating roads and streets are hard to see.
Snych clock on PC based on TIME derived from Satellite. Don't know if that data can be read or not from the GPS receiver, but its most likely more consistent than an internet connection.
The ability to have it switch to night-mode automatically based on time.
Music interface, not through the launchcast interface though.
This is actually exactly how the podcasts DigitalMod works that we demoed at IDF and will be releasing hopefully later this week. You should look at the source of it then to figure out how to do it yourself.

FWIW: I give this a strong second :-) Or, have the next turn info pop up (not necessarily visible at all times) when you're a specified distance away from the next turn, i.e. leverage the existing NAV setting "show full text directions when the next direction is within..."

Fading is a must...gives the front end a much cleaner sound....especially when it comes to navigational commands. Also, fade in and out during voice commands.
