The streetdeck power down options completely replace the windows power management. This is so a delay can be enforced by streetdeck to save settings and WiFi sync and so that the shutdown option can be controlled by streetdeck. Whenever a shutdown message is recieved from windows, streetdeck will cancel it and initiate its own shutdown sequence.

If you have it set to standby in streetdeck it should go to standby. Can't you tell what it did by what it does when you start it back up?

Yes I can see evrything working. Anytime I use standby my touchscreen doesnt work.

So tell me this.... Is my ATX kicking the power off before SD can do its thing?

B/c when it comes back up it looks like it is finishing the Standby countdown, then it goes down for a few seconds then resumes back.

I am getting so fed up with this StreetDeck. If its not one thing its another. If I pay $200 for a program it should work RIGHT the first time. None of this "well buy this to make it better" or change this setting to make this work. I am a VERY computer literate tech and this crap has ****ed me off to no end. I need some support on this thing. I am tired of posting here and waiting 2 days for a reply.

Not only is my shut down not working correctly but SD makes a horrible rumble noice in my sub so i buy a $100 DAC, after installing that the video ONLY IN SD is screws up and I have no sound ONLY IN SD.

I tried taking SD out of the shell bootup option and that didnt do a thing. Everything still the same.

$200 is a ton of money to pay for a program that is still a beta. Come on guys how about some help here?

You might see the countdown screen momentarily, but it shouldn't stay there. If the countdown screen goes away on its own after resuming it means everything has worked.

If your touchscreen doesn't work coming out of standby, it is most likely a driver or motherboard issue. There are a bunch of general posts on mp3car about this particular issue.

This is not a problem when I just have windows resume. It ONLY does this with SD. Again..... SD is agravating the crap out of me.

I am just going to re install SD. As I said before.... Still NO HELP.

I reinstalled SD and now this is what i get......

    Settings 1-
    Default Shutdown Mode - Standby
Show The Shutdown Options for - 5 Seconds
Kill Shutdown Task After - Disable Shutdown Task
Autosave Settings Every - Dont save
Shutdown Immediatly when the powerbutton is pressed - NO CHECK

    Outcome -
Turn Key Off - 5 seconds later computer is in Sleep mode WORKS FINE
Turn Key On - Hibernating Screen shows for 1 second countdown --> goes blank and computer goes into sleep mode AGAIN.
Turn Key Off - computer wakes up from sleep mode, 5 seconds later goes back to sleep
Turn Key On -SD is Back up and working.... with NO TOUCHSCREEN

To get this thing to come up after it has gone into sleep mode I have to:
    Turn key off....
    turn key on....
Turn key Off and on again really quick.

Then it resumes fine with touchscreen working and music playing.

I have posted so many times on this issue..... Still nothing. Is there anyone out there using a M2-ATX? Am I the only person with this setup?

If its not already, try powering your touchscreen off of your M2-ATX rather then the cars power directly.

You could also make a batch file to call devcon (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=311272) to remove and readd your touchscreen and place it in the resume folder to run after you return from standby (Executing Programs on Startup / Shutdown)

Chuch.... I really appreciate your comments here. But my concern is not with the touchscreen. Its with the power not working correctly.

Sorry I guess I didnt clearify that in my last post. The sleep mode is not working and that is my only concern. Once I get that working I will deal with the touchscreen.
