Thread: Will there be support for Sirius?

yea maybe you SD guys should reconsider this, but I'd actually rather them spend their time fixing all the bugs and making StreetDeck as stable as possible.

I purchased SD for the "Satalite radio".... this was a major disapointment to me.

Is there any other way to intergrate it into SD using another app? What about a digmod?

If you really want to make SD kick A$$.... add the sirius traffic feature to the GPS as well..... now this would beat any feature added!!

I was also disappointed to find SD didn't support Sirius. Mitch seems to make the dll available to whoever needs it. It looks like RR is the only frontend to Support it....oh, and DigitalDash.

Programming experience here... be nice to have documentation on such DLL to understand the calls.

Yea that would be good to have.... My bestfriend is a programmer and we were talking about this the other day. Has anyone ever got Sirius working in SD?

I'd love to know where you got this information. If anything, Sirius would be in a position to purchase XM, considering they have more capital thanks to the acquisition of Howard Stern and the portion of his fanbase huge fanbase that subscribed to Sirius as a result.

A quick Google nets only one article about a merger of the two Satellite radio companies, and that was from January 2005. The article states that merger plans are merely rumor.
