I have tested this reciever and am very impressed with the results.
Currently, I am trying to source a means to make an adapter to go from the connection on the USB key to a Female motorola end.
While soldering would work for some, it's not a viable solution by and large.
The retractable antenna on this thing is a bit of a dissapointment. It's incredibly flemsy and low quality. However, if we can by pass it completely and plug directly into the car antenna via a female motorola adapter we should be set.
Just wanted to bring this back to the top to see if there were any updates.

Everything is for sale.
Can somebody post what the antennae looks like?
froal - I can't take a pic right now and post it, but I can tell you it's a complete POS and really wouldn't work in the car. It's a retractable antenna that's really thin and flexable. It's retractable like those things that you would connect a card to that you would swipe to get into a building or an id card...hope that makes sense.
polo - I'm just waiting for one of our developers to get my a plug-in that they have written so I can test it before we release it. We want to make sure that this is nearly flawless before we release anything.
ahh...I know what you are talking about.
Interesting. These ADS units are selling at staples.ca in Canada for C$39.86 + tax but with a C$10 rebate. I've just ordered one.
I wonder if I can find a Linux driver. The fact that it is based on a reference design gives some hope.
Is there any further movement with this, or did this fall to the BoomzBox? I got tired of waiting on that thing and bought the ADS module, I love it but would like built in tuner support from my front end, so far as I can tell only RR has any support for this
