    Another completely pointless poll.
You can load an entire album in the music nav screen with ease.

    Poll closed.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

please tell me how - but not with

    1. go to options, set queue
    2. clear playlist
    3. add album
    4. cannot go back to previous song because deleted from playlist once played etc.

i want a "one-click" or touch solution (okay two is fine too). from paid software i excpect a certain WAF (wife-acceptance-factor) when using it.

furthermore the reason why i moved from roadrunner to streetdeck was because i wanted an "out-of-the-box" usable solution and don't have the time to play around with skinning and try-and-error exercises. please also note that i paid for the software. so if my feedback is not appreciated i let it be

    OK.
Once queue is set, you need not go back to that option. Once it's toggled on, it stays on. So that portion of your procedure is moot.

There's also an option in the Music PReferences that will allow you to select all of an album's playlist (assuming there is one).
    So...
with this option selected, and album playlists in place, you choose any tracjk from an album and you're going to get the entire album queued and playing.

    I'd say that's pretty simple....

There's some validity to upspaces concerns though.

The current method of playing/queuing music is awkward.
I think the most intuitive solution would act like a CD changer.

Select an album and it loads with tracks ordered by track number.
Select another album and it loads replacing the previous one.

I don't think you can do this now.
I think in non-queue mode is the closest this, but it loads tracks in alphabetical order.

I don't understand the reasoning behind that. In music, the title of the track has no relevance to the order it should played in.

I think looking at it as an step forward from past car audio devices(changers etc..) is a better approach than trying to take all the madness/features of the PC world and trying to cram it in the car, with respect to album selection at least.

    my 2 cents

upspace and knubile are right on. don't know what vaccuum folks were in when they designed this portion of SD. it's gotten better, but still missing the final touches.

another 2 cents from another paying customer.

another paying member for this idea...

sidenote:.. I dont like the fact that Darquepervert closes every damn poll..

its just a poll.. to see how the users feel... which can be a great aid for the developers..

they can look at the poll results and then decide if it is something they want to invest time in... its not a written contract by any means... its how we can get our ideas across to the developers... nothing more nothing less...

so pretty please DP.. ease up a lil... thanks

Don't know if this is pertinent, but FWIW:

All this has been implemented will probably be in the next update, 1.0.6.4, it won't be out until sometime after CES. Contingent on real world testing, some of the aforementioned features may not make it in, but they are all in the redesign at this point.

@moderators/admins: could you please re-open this poll? from the feedback/posts seen here i see a real interest in this poll.

btw my other poll 'qwerty' keyboard showed that 88% prefer such a layout.

hey where did you get such results in the past? former comunist party elections with 99.9% votes electing the (only) proposed candiate?!
