I know, I tried the WMP but it opens another instance of WMP.... streetdeck runs wmp in the background or as a service![]()
in that case, someone can write a plug-in for it.
That's the great thing about streetdeck...anyone can write plug-ins for it, you don't have to wait for the StreetDeck developers to do it.

Hi, i use a powermate with RoadRunner for volume and next/prev track. I went to winamp outside RR first and enabled the global hotkeys. then in the powermate setup just use the "send keystroke" option to set what you want the knob to do.
But if "wmp" means windows media player, there must be the something like "hot keys" that can be used.
Try this girder plugin for the powermate. Drag and drop the dll in streedecks plugin folder.
thanks for the plugin... I copied it into the plugin folder but does not show.... i will try to fix it later(Powermate works as a volume knob no problem).... any one got one for the airclick.... thats what i really want working. thanks.
Any one have any suggestions. WMP runs in the background and when i try to use airclick it opens a new wmp instance. Any one use a small footprint RF remote that works well with SD im willing to buy another remote![]()
After getting absolutely no support form streetdeck in regards to airclick, I finally found something that works.
I know some of you pm'ed me if i got a solution, but i cant remember who so heres the link. just download the sendkey plugin and map it to keyboard strokes whick work in SD.

rumy - according to the instructions provided with the sendkey plug-in:
What is 'the' plug-in? Is it the sendkey plug-in or is it the plug-in for the program you want to map keys to?To set which keys you want to send to the active app, select the plugin on the menu, then press both the volume up and volume down buttons. A window should pop up with a text box corresponding to each of the remote buttons. Just enter the keys you want to correspond to each button press.
Never-mind: it's the senkey plug-in and you have to press them at the same time.
For some reason, I still can't get the mapped keys to work. If I map keys that have ctrl + some letter/number, I can get a reaction out of StreetDeck, but it's now what I'm wanting. It will come up and show 'speak now' like I've told it to listen for something, but I haven't given that command.
What keys did you bind to the settings?
UPDATE: Seems it doesn't like just regular keys for some reason.
I had to map the following to get it to work:
Play/Pause: {ENTER}
Previous/Rewind: {LEFT}
Next/Fastforward: {RIGHT}
Volume Down: {DOWN}
Volume Up: {UP}
