Are you kidding? They probably sell 500 copies a day. They do have big contracts.

if they were selling 500 copies a day they would have more programmers, a better customer service team and a lower price.

Why doesnt a streetdeck staff member answer as to how many copies you guys sell on average and/or till date.

    Well, two reasons, actually:

    1. It is part of their business model, and quite honestly, if they don't want to disclose it, they are perfectly in the right not to do so.

    2. Also quite honestly, as of late, the SD staff has been quite secretive, and less helpful they have been in the past.

Take that for what it's worth.

    Why?

Because the one person who would make the decision as to whether that information is to be disclosed is currently not even within the country. He's out of the country at a conference.

How would this info matter to you?

I agree with the posters above...it's likely part of their business model and so they probably want to keep it confidential.

If you feel you need that information before deciding to purchase SD, then consider that you'd probably be using the installed base size in an attempt to decide if SD has an appropriate level of support/response/frequency of update.

If the program doesn't meet your needs because you find it lacking in one of the areas mentioned above, then just don't buy it.

I think you can tell how good the support is by reading this forum... you dont need to know if it has 10 or 10 million users...

I will NEVER use streetdeck. I don't like the cost, stupid safety features, etc... If they remove the annoying warning when you bypass the gps while moving, change the price to ~50 dollars, and improve the usability of the program, maybe they would have a decent chance. RR + FP ftw!!!

You also forgot the choice of not paying for it and using it
