I work here. We do not have 500 sales a day in the retail operation. I cannot and will not speak as to the corporate side as I can not confirm. Our sales numbers are not any of your concern in a privately owned company. All of our employees that I am aware of are located inside the continental US. Stop making things up.




You are basing this assumption on population of the forums. This is flawed and incorrect. Both software programs have users that do not post here. We do accept the flaws of the software, and are working to make it better. Constantly beating a dead horse about the same issues when we can't program an entirely new navigation system in the span of 2-3 weeks is not constructive. It's annoying, and detrimental to our design process. People who could be working on your solution are now defending the software you want to work from your attacks.



There are major issues with Streetdeck. As stated several times to the point of absurdity, we are working on them. It sounds like you've run out of constructive criticism and are now being a pest. Again, post your conversation so we can hear it. As to our staff hating the other staff? I don't know how you would get this tidbit of info, but I have a feeling it's from between your own ears.



I don't care if you're in Canada. StreetDeck is an American program, and as such, will obey American laws. This has a separate thread, that is insanely long and full of legal mumbo-jumbo. Everyone seems to have reached some form of consensus on it but you.

If you are going to keep mentioning the same issues you have with the program, fine, thats keeping it in the forefront of our memory. But if you keep doing stuff like this, do you think it will get solved any faster? Software development is not something that just happens when you snap your fingers.

Bottom line. Stop lying, stop making superfluous posts supporting your main account, and stop whining about things that are already being worked on.

Whatever, According to my lawyer it would not be wise to post the convo, you can turn this around as much as you want and you can get the administrator sitting right next to you to post ip addresses so that this sounds like a conspiracy, and I get it you are paid to do this. but the bottom line is that this software should not be sold. its buggy and has major flaws. now only if I can get a refund ill stop being a "PEST".

Randy, I did some digging to try and find your order. I think I found your account (we have one Randy in your country) but I don’t see any orders for StreetDeck. I checked Rumy’s account and it looks like he activated two copies of StreetDeck activated under one order. Strange.

Ok, now this just ****es me off. If you are going to complain about something, (in this case, SD), don't use someone elses account, don't make it look like you are someone else to increase the apparent numbers of complaints, and don't have issues with your ownership of the software license. It just makes the rest of us look bad, and the staff to pay that much less attention to any problems.

For the record, I am only me, no-one else, I have a legitimate license for SD, order number 15000, and I don't claim to be anyone else, or represent anyone else.

I have what I think are legitimate complaints about SD, and while I don't currently want (or think I deserve) a refund, I do reserve both the right to ASK for one in the future, and the right to continue to gripe about the issue I am currently having with SD. Hopefully, these will be fixed (or at least some of the major (in my book) problems will be fixed) in the upcoming releases.

That said, I've conveyed my personal complaints with the customer service personnel to the particular individuals involved, as well as God_of_CPU, via private message, and will stop complaining about that as well, until/if it gets appreciably worse, or appreciably better, for that matter.

Correct such false statements as we know you are not that big a company. and if you had 500 sales a day you wouldn't just have 1 programmer, 1 sales engineer and 2 customer support agents on your payroll,(or how many ever you have) who are BTW mostly out of the country.

3. You dont have a community size even close to that of front ends like roadrunner on the forum talking about streetdeck. When the staff and moderators supersede users participating on the forum IMO you should not shut people down and lock up threads like you did to the "Navigation just does not work" to a lot of users it seemed like as soon as rumy was getting some support you shut the thread down. Accept flaws of the software and take criticism in a healthy positive manner.

The thread was locked because it was going no where but circles. It wasn't doing anything to solve the issue and was infact taking up valuable time by the team that could have been spent working on solutions. You can't work on solutions when you're answering the same questions over and over again.

4. Like many have pointed out there are some major issued with Streetdeck, it is buggy, the navigation just does not work as the thread spoke for itself and your staff hates all other staff at SD.

I remember a conversation with a CSR agent when he mentioned that he hates how the developers and other people in the company are so egoistic and there is absolutely no professionalism in the company. I have a recorded conversation in case any one wants to hear it, ill post it up. just makes your company sound pathetic.

stop saying things like just fix what is out there so that its usable in 2007, if we wanted a paid solution for 2020 we would just use something else.

Fixing something like Navigation TAKES TIME. I'm failing to understand how that's hard to understand?!

5. Just remove the dame restrictions on SD or offer an option to remove them without the 20 different pop up warnings. If users wanted to be goverened like that they wouldn't have gone with the carpc solution.

Haven't we already beat this horse dead as well? It's been laid out time and time again, BY A PROFESSIONAL LAWYER EVEN! and you still fail to understand it?! It's quite apparently that no matter how it's explained, it's never good enough.

Criticism is appreciated, GREATLY appreciated at that...as long as it's constructive.

When you're going around and around in circles with someone who doesn't listen, you're spending time away from fixing issues. Which would you prefer? Someone to listen to you or someone to hear you the first time and try and do something about it?

No one deserves to be berated and belittled, especially by someone (or by persons) who have absolutely no clue what they are talking about. Those of us at this company take our jobs very seriously and are dedicated to making this product and this company the best that it can be.

I dont know what Randy's account number is, but I can assure you he is not using my copy. I changed my system as SD needed more resources. I went and bought a new system from future shop and put that in my car thats why I called to change the registration code.
do you need to see a receipt for it?

The thread " SD on Vista realtek HD not working" and the quoted post should tell you likewise.

Ziplock, I am not stupid if I wanted to create another account and post I could have very well used a proxy server or remote desktoped into one of my dedicated servers and posted.

It is wrong however of you to misuse your administrative privileges and post ip addresses on the thread, without gaining hard evidence or at least consulting one of us first.

I dont have to justify myself over here as I dont think the mp3 car police is going to come arrest me, but I would like to say that I have had a good experience with the MP3 Car/ Streetdeck customer support team I have dealt with both patrick and mat and they have been very helpful, unfortunately I do agree with carputerwiz and other members concerns in terms of streetdeck crashing etc, but overall I think this is manageable and hope to see it fixed in the near future. Patrick or Matt if you could please comment on my helping you in terms of submitting logs etc and the fact that I have till today never called in requesting a refund.

It was I. Not meant seriously. And it was in respose to thread mentioning coorporate accounts and such and fleet vehicles. Somebody said that the entire SD user population was under 500. I thought that was very low. There are probably 10 times that many including everybody. This is just a wild crazy canadian guessing. So that's like what 3500 copies in US guessing after the exchange rate?
