Thanks but as I know nothing about skinning, skins or how they work that really means nothing to me.

I would encourage you to read the general embedding faq in the RR forum instead, theres alot of great info there, that you can use not only for this GPS part, but also for other applications you wan't to embed.

I can help you there i had a similar problem.
If you are loading Sygic off of a button, the COMMAND properties of this button should read:
"LOAD;sygic.skin;!Sygic DRIVE;C:\Program Files\DRIVE_XP\drive.exe |-no-safety -r800x520;!Sygic DRIVE||ACTIVATE;Sygic DRIVE"
Your best bet is to copy and paste exactly as i have done above (obvioulsy changing any of the necessary file paths you require).
The r800x520 is the dimesnions of the SYGIC application, so again you can change these to your liking.
I made a simple sygic.skin which looks like this:
MEDIACAR Skin
MEDIACAR IGUIDANCE. Skin
IGUIDANCE_OFF.jpg,IGUIDANCE_OFF.jpg,IGUIDANCE_OFF. jpg,IGUIDANCE_DOWN.jpg

Hope this helps![]()

does anybody know if i can use keyboard shortcuts (page up or down) to change the zoom level in sygic.
the buttons on the sygic screen are too small for touchscreen usage and the zoom level does not change very visible, i.e. clicking three or four times on - button really brings you a different view of the map.
i then would like a road runner screen button with, let's say threy keystrokes, to zoom in / out. i know how to assign buttons in the EXECTBL.ini.
thank you
another question sygic related:
i am often listening very loud (bass) music during driving. if then the voice jumps in, it almost blows my ears (and loudspeakers). you can easily listen techno and rap at high volumes but voices only tend to distort.
is there a way to have voice commands to be outputted at 50% of the current music volume (interrupting/pausing the music) and then resume full power music playback?
question/remark number three and four:-)
1. i notice a small lag from my current real position and the arrow of the car on the map. it is about 5-10 meters and is especially ugly when you are about to turn. let's say i do a left turn, sygic drive then seems to continue straigth for 1 or 2 secs, means not following the own proposed route and then jumps back into my left turn. most of the time the map is also oriented wrongly then, i.e. 90 degrees. am i clear? who noticed the same behaviour? it is very confusing, especially if you don't know the area, do a turn as proposed, want to double-check on the map and then sygic shows you something else. i already lost orientation with this many times. iguidance is never doing this. well it also does less smooth moving of cards. but what does it give to me if i have smooth animation but unclear orientation. i expect sygic to "interpolate" in first hand that i follow its instructions and scrolls the map the way the route goes and not just going straitgh.
2. sygic drive does calculate its routes in general well but i realized that it tries to guide you often through clearly marked pedestrian areas? is this due to the map material (doubt since it is teleatlas which is used for many other navigation systems) or does their routing procedure not taking care of it?
