Why I Shouldn't I Create Duplicate Threads?? (guide for new posts)

When a thread is created on the mp3car server it will dynamically be displayed in three areas:

    1.Home page:

2.New thread in the mp3car technical forum root:

3.If the user hits "new post" :

So if you create duplicate threads in different forums, people like me (that doesn't do **** all day ) can't help you out...

    Why??? you may ask yourself...

Because when the user sees a new thread he/she tries to help and when he/she finishes and sees the same thread... with the same question and even the same title he/she gets confused and starts thinking that the post didn't go through so he/she starts typing again just to find out that it is a DUPLICATE THREAD!!!.

Also it makes it harder on you because then you have to keep track of two different threads for the answer.

Furthermore Creating Duplicate Threads ****es everyone off... and some of the users that sees your duplicate thread probably are NOT going to help you because we think your being annoying by not understanding forum etiquite.

So be a good user and don't create duplicate threads.

    Thanks...

you should add in a little info on how much it ****es everyone off too... and how anyone who sees your double post is probably going to purposely NOT help you because you're being rude.
But don't take it from me! here's a quote from a real, live newbie:

Actually that is very true. If I see a double post a feel less inclined to help.

You should also add that when there is a double post, and someone ACTUALLY does search, they will come up with an extra post that must be read and discarded. If everyone double posted, then a search result that would have had 10 easy to read posts with good information, will return 20, with 10 of them having crap in them

P.S. If you add the info, let me know, and I wil delete this post.

Don't worry i will clean stuff up. Good Suggestion

Thanatos, i cleaned up your post and corrected a lot of grammer (please don't take offense) It is much more readable. I also changed everywhere that it said "Double Post" to "duplicate thread". A double post is when somone posts two of the exact same posts in a thread by accident. We have all done this at one point in time and it is forgiveable. Just don't make a habbit of doing it.

    Cheers
