I like RoadRunner too to play around with but as far as a commercial grade product that I would recommend to others? Centrafuse...

Reviving an old thread.
I initial tried RR but gave up on it since I was a noob and wanted to get things running smoothly without too much modding. So I looked around and ended up buying Centrafuse. It was the slickest and most functional looking FEs I could find. Everything is integrated very nicely and doesn't require any outside programs to run although you can add them easily if you want.
I will likely switch over to RR when I get tired of the limited feature set of CF and fairly slow development/limited community of developers. But for now it is a very nice looking, functional front end that does everything I need it to do. The skinning app is looking great too.
I want to actually use my carpc and not be constantly tweaking it.

I just played with cave.. it's got some potential... i love the graphic work and speed.

But then again.. it's noob talking hehe ^^

I am gonna play with frodo tonight right after dinner.. ^^

Road Runner is the best frontend available and the votes back it. +1 from me.

If there were something better I would use it.

There is one distinct feature that makes RR much better than any of them, and that is because its 100% open source and has the largest and most talented developer base.

Don't like a feature? then remove it. Want a new feature? Add it. Want a unique look? Skin it. Its a simple philosophy that has gotten RR to the top.

It has the most features, can do anything other frontends do, including clone their GUI, and has the most supported hardware. (I know I'm listening to HD radio on the carPC)

At first use to a newb it may seem overwhelming, but if you take the time to learn how it works, its the most powerful frontend available at time of writing.

I would also like to add that, in my honest opinion, most of the commercial products are junk.
