I use MS Streets & Trips 2006 and it is awesome
IGuidance was really good too, but MS is just a tad better
MS Streets & Trips/MapPoint (Post version!)
TomTom (via PocketPC Emulator)
Google Earth-based (GooPS, CommTest2, etc.)
Other (post your setup!)
Map Monkey does the job for me --- just a little problem with the shutdown process, but it's no more than a minor glitch
I have used Delorme 2004 and 2006. 2006 is much easier to use than 2004 for directions and such but its kind of hard to use on a small screen. It's nice too if you miss your turn it will reroute you after a little while.
Anyone compare this to IGuidance? I would like to know specific advantages and disadvantages.
Also it would help if people said why they like one over another if they have tried more than one. That seems more useful.
I've used 2004 Delorme and IG.
hands down IG kicks it's butt.
The Delorme was so difficult to use while in a car, the GPS antenna that came with it was a joke and wasn't very accurate.
The screen layout of IG is 10x better.
But, keep in mind that nothing is 100% yet on any of them.
No doubt, Navigon NCK 5 (With TMC and dynamic route)
Capture from PNA device, but is very similar for pc-car...
Captured from my PC in simulation mode..
TomTom, but haven't got it working on pc yet
