Pros:
Simple, it worked exactly as described. Very, very simple to setup. Just connect the RCA jacks left and right, in and out, and that's it! There are also 2 brown wires that the directions state "Connect the brown wires to ground only if there is no sound out of the amplifier. Connect them both to the source chassis case." I did not have to connect the brown wires.
Cons:
Absolutely nothing!
Review:
I installed a new carpc setup and absolutely love the speed and how great everything works but there has always been that tiny little annoying sound I could hear when I fired it up. I could barely hear the harddrive spin up and if the volume was low, I could faintly hear the noise within the music. It wasn't terrible but it was annoying because I knew it was there.
I came across a PAC SNI-1 Ground Loop Isolator & RCA Noise Filter on Ebay and thought what the hell, for that amount, let me give it a shot and get 2 of them. One for the carpc and the other to put coming out the amp.
Well, to my surprise, the damn thing worked perfectly just by putting it on the pc connection! I absolutely do not hear a single whine or any foreign sound! I am very, very impressed with this little unit.
The Ebay seller sent it very fast, well packaged and combined shipping (I bought 2).

Changed my sound - Didn't like it
I think it all depends on your setup and hardware. I had major engine noise, I guess due to the fact my car has a big engine, big alternator and what not. So I decided to by ground loop isolators from a company called Install Edge. They promised that it would get rid of the noise, and add a 3 db gain. It also came with a brown ground wire, and they assured me the sound would not be muffled. They sell them at Best Buy for $17.99. I didnt want to pay that, so I went through ebay and got 5 units for $20.00 dollars. I highly recommend Install Edge.
Does it matter if you turn the ground loop isolator around? I noticed that the output (female) and input (male) seem to be opposite of what I'd actually need for my Zune/car stereo solution.
EDIT: Nevermind, I just went to Radio Shack and bought a ground loop isolator and it fixed my problems...
