50 Mile range with WiFi!?!?!?!?! Is that even possible? Any boosters I have seen claim to boost the WiFi by 600% or so. So 500 feet x 6 = 3000 feet = aprox 1/2 mile.

John..... don't you come up in here starting no trouble now :fencing:
OMG, do not buy a booster, they are known to cause radiaton and lead to cancer. I wanted one so bad but I honestly dont want to shorten my already short life doing it. They say to keep it a good distance away from passengers, but in my opinion a car is just too small of a space no matter were you put it. Mind you I am not using Wi-Fi, but I bought a huge antenna for my truck and it gives me 100% signal. I had issues going into under ground garages and drive thrus so I took the antenna off and left the base and still get 85%. Driving at 8o mph is an issue for me also. Thankfully things like Sling player allow you to set a buffer time.
Dude! I see the confusion now! You bought that antenna for your Cell phone? At first glance reading the thread I thought it was for WiFi, as the thread was about WiFi antenna's! LOL
That would make more sense, as a cellphone tower range to a cellphone averages around 25 miles, so with a booster, I don't see why that could not double the range.
