This is kind of general...I have already inadvertently taken this post off topic. I have a simple XP setup. No tiny xp or anything it loads lighting fast. Check out the OS optimization sections of this site. Use the S3 (standby) suspend if you can.

    4850e 0 That's what I have, 0 USB issues.

    Running on a DSATX.

Let me reiterate again my devices, all on 2.0 have no problem. In fact, all usb ports are used up ! including 2 Hubs.

i was using a transcend SSD, however, it hibernated too slow - so i gave it up for a 10k rpm drive.

I am using this one if you are curious. http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...ata_ii_2_5-ssd. They do hibernate very slow comparatively, however I use standby so It doesn't really matter.

Had an issue with newegg. They wouldn't accept any of my credit cards saying they were all declined. So that ate about 2 days and they say there is no problem on there end...SO I just ordered through Amazon and wouldn't you know my credit cards work just fine. Waiting on it any day now, will let ya know.

    *Update*

Recieved my "5050e" today as well as some updated ram (2gb 1066 mushkin). I popped the CPU in with the ram and it fired right up. I noticed instantly that my steering wheel controls were more responsive. The gps, which actually had been locking on for the last 4 weeks did not obtain lock while on my way to work. I have not plugged my wireless card back in either. There is notable difference however, so I can def. attribute my issues to power. I am at work right now, and will get everything running and do a final test tomorrow. I'll report back. So for, promising!

    FYI

I flashed the bios in hopes of fixing the "USB Port 3" issue and it crashed. I flashed using the supplied utility from jetway (Awdflash). I have flashed many bios's before and never ran into the dreaded flash crash. Now I am without a carpc. Jetway offers NO support on the issue. They tell you to contact your supplier. What supplier (newegg) is going to or has the capability to replace a bios chip? This ridiculous! My brother screwed his asus board up with a flash and asus RMA'd the board even though it was over a year old and sent him a new one. Jetway implemented "Bios Recovery" back in 2007 and it did not make it onto this board apparently. Beware!
