Looks like more of the same from Lilliput. Premium price for all the wrong features. Is it just me or is the controller board for the 669GL larger than those found on its bretheren? As for the review come on guys you could do much better. :puke:
No disrespect to the op or Sonicxtacy...your review still isn't published yet...right?
I'm going to put it up on monday. But yes the board is taller than previous models. I dont know what you mean by premium price. Its 269 i believe, Xenarcs still cost much more for less features.

I just got one of these in from the mp3car store. Anyone got auto on working on these yet?
You may get auto-on from mp3car, you may not.. if you havent received a ship notice yet then ask them to program auto-on for you

Auto on solved. Here's how:
Have a video source on, I'm using DVI with the HDMI cable.
Turn the screen off.
Press and hold the power button for around 10 seconds.
Release and quickly hit and release power again.
Monitor will turn on and display a language config menu.
Press and release menu until you get to one with a 'POWER STATE' setting.
Use the + key to change this from 0 to 2.
Press and release menu until the menu disappears.
Now when you unplug and replug the power the monitor turns on by itself.
BTW, I figured this out by chance after pressing and holding the power button to simulate a simple circuit to do that to try to turn it on without having to use a pulse generator. Use at your own risk.
I bought one from eBay last week and the seller offered to do this for free so I guessed it must have been easy. They charge $8 to do the auto-switch for a reversing camera.
The sellers name is lilliputlcdshop and they are from China so I'm guessing they are from Lillput or closely involved with them.
where were you 3 weeks ago when i had to send mine away to get it working lol. Good job. I'm going to change the title of this thread and sticky it.
