    I'm not sure I understand your question...It would look like anything else GUI related. Can you explain you question a little more?

    I mean is it a similar interface to XP on a laptop? Or does it look the way it does on a TV?

    Im not getting ur question either...MCE looks the same on no matter what its on, PC\Laptop
    XP runs in the background

    look at is like this... MCE is basically a APP running in Windows XP....so whatever u can run on XP will work with MCE...its the same ****...just with the added MCE interface

    let me clerify, MCE is like running a front end, or any other program if you move your mouse you get the normal three butons in the top right corner "minimize" "re-size" and "close" once minimized you get your desktop, start menue and all that. its just another program that comes up to display your t.v.
    Life Dosn't come with a reset button, if it did you might as well turn the game off.

    media center menu

    hi everyone,

    im new to this HTPC, windows media center thing and was wondering if it was possible to boot windows media center straight to the media center menu i have not used windows media center yet and am planning to buy a HTPC in the summer if any 1 can help please do thanks and if you dont post here you can you can mail me [email protected]

    yes u can , just go into the setting menu winthin media center, click on general setting and click start when windows starts
