Yes please. Keep it somewhere between $150 and $200 (as a kit including touchscreen) and you can count me as a sale.Originally Posted by Fiberoptic

Maximus, How did you go about purchasing this screen? I'm very eager to get the 8" transreflective (they do one?)
I can help out with the bezel if you wish, I've got a CNC mill.
I honestly don't remember how i found them, but they're a local distributor who prefer to be unnamed since they feal that they cant handle individual sales in large numbers... I guess I was the lucky exception.
They offered me to be a "retailer" but that would mean that I'd have to order ten kits and I don't know if there's enough interest for that.
As of right now, they don't even have a 7" transflective, they where having production problems and didn't want to deliver the screen, but I'll get it sooner or later.
If you're not in a rush I'd suggest you'd wait for whatever mp3car has up their sleeves, my screen is plenty bright and 500nits is 100 more than mine so that should be great. If they're able to get a similar controller (serial controllable) then it'll be a great package.
If you and nine others can't wait... I could get the screens for ya (at no additional cost).
If you could make the bezel, that would be great... what cad format do you want the drawings in so you can have a look ?.
/M
I'll wait for the time being I think... lets see what happens with what mp3car have planned.
DXF, IGES or Inventor files are fine for me.

There's loads of interest - especially if the price is right. $450 is way too steep for most people.

Motion LS800 Tablet PC and dock.
Vista, Bu-535 GPS, RoadRunner, MPT2006.
If you have something that would work with all the parameters that carpc people require with that many nits yes you would have a large market share quickly.
If you do have something that can blow away what you see, find someone local and take side by side shots of the current technology compared to what you claim you have.
Where are you located?
