Just like Fusion-One, the only other GPS receiver I have experience with is the Deluo. I had the Deluo mounted near my rearview mirror right up against the windshield and was less than pleased with its performance. Acquisition seemed slow and once it found the satellites, the lock wasn't that great. On average, I would get a weak lock on 5-6 satellites and if I was lucky, 8-9. I moved it there because the receiver was previously located on the dashboard and had difficulty finding and locking onto satellites.Quote:

It would consistently find 12 satellites and lock onto 8-9 satellites with a strong lock. When I first got the receiver and did some testing, I placed it in various areas of my car (on the dash, in the glovebox, on the passenger seat, in the center console, etc.) while I was driving and it would find and lock onto 8-9 satellites. Also, in areas of dense foliage where the Deluo would lose the satellites, the AyAy had no problem maintaing the lock on the satellites.
Overall, I definitely prefer the AyAy over the Deluo.
