That looks pretty cool. Could you post some screenshots of it in action? I'd like to see how its menus and such are organized.

Steve0, you might want to read the thread before posting...we don't have screen shots because the unit in question was defective. See my post on the first page requesting screen shots.

My bad, I thought the original posters unit was tested and working.

Rereading, EternalOdyssey mentioned the navigation and use of his, so I'm assuming he could get a screen even if Dylan had no luck with his unit

    Question

Can this shuffle your music at playback, or is it always played back in the same order?

    Thanks

The original poster does have a working one.

BUT not to change the subject:
GPS, Audio, Video, 3.5" touchscreen, and onboard 20gig HD for $200?

What has the world come to!

That thing looks pretty cool...and shipping is reasonable as well. The screen is on the smallish side, but more than I'd expect for the price, so not really a complaint there. I wonder what database/info the GPS uses and its future upgradability with new data in the future?

That's the miracle of overseas manafacturing, I guess...but amazing nonetheless.

I'm guessing that the USB connection to the computer has to be disconnected before it will begin to function on it's own?

I'll probably pick one up to play with, but if it can be used while it's still connected to the computer, I'm all over it. Think standalone-capable remote head for the children, with a normal GPS+ETC carpc as a host.

The navigation of the menus can be tedious since the instructions are in engrish :P

    Otherwise, pretty damn nifty.
Do you have a link to one of the 3.5" versions?

Found some of the 3.5"ers, looking forward to getting my hands on one.

Anyone have any pictures of the on screen interface?
