Thread: Ebay Carputer Kit.

Yeah Did you get the kit from tambay? or buy just the computer. ? would you mind If i asked you what you paid for it ? I love mine so far. . . like i said killed the inverter. . . but not really its fault more like mine. . . . . just got all of my wires hidden today and everything mounted almost where it belongs.

nice! ok so now i wanna buy one, but im wonderinf if you guys are running the audio through ur stock head units? i have an audi a6 with the stock audio system(bose) and if i can run all the audio from this carpc(like when i want to watch dvds or listen to my mp3s) ill def get this thing. thanx for the input

Naah, my stock head unit was cooked when i bought my Passat. i bought a mp3 player from the local audio shop for like 119 with the 1/8 input jack. . . . on the front. . . . ( used to use an ipod) looking back now. .one of the things i would have done different was get a radio with the input in the rear. . . . as now i have cables hanging out of it. . . . If i remember to take m camera to the office tomorrow i will tr to get some updated pics. . . .


still a nice unit. . . .i was pleasantly surprised to see a Lilliput screen show up . .. . .after seeing the crappy one that was posted in the auction

As i am in no way involved with this company. . . as you can slearly see i bought my unit from them . . .But they have a web forum where you can ask questions about the units and talk with other owners of the same product and get support. .. .i am going to be a mod over there. . .and would ask anyone interested to stop by and sign up. . .we could use come users over there. . . It is never going nor intended to compete with this site. . . . just a nice support forum for the ebay car computers . .

I have been looking at these systems on Ebay for the past couple of days and googled Carputer + Ebay and your post came up. Thanks for all of the info. I may go forward with this purchase now myself.

I also took a look at the forum that you mentioned, I may sign later, I see tht you currently only have 3 registered members, but I'm sure that will grow.

im guessing yes, cuz my p4 1.6ghz has usb 2.0
