Yeah The inverter comes with the system. . . .its a cheap looking 300 watt max unit but it gets the job done. . . . . Yes you can use aux input. . . . . This computer is nothing more than a Compaq evo d510 USDT just run 1/8 " plug from the sound cars output to your head unit or amps or what not and you are set. . . . . . The nav system is pretty cool . . . . I am actually taking a liking to the delorme street atlas software. . as far as adding Sirius i am not sure.. . might want to email Galleon about that . . . .or ask the admin at forums.galleongps.com

looking at those systems back in October of last year when I got my new car. I think back then they were giving 8" monitors with it and I needed a 7". I wish I had known they had switched to a 7" lilliput monitor. I would have been all over it. I went the laptop route though.

Hey toxiclows, i bought the same system that you have a little bit ago, but i have yet to actually get it in the car b/c i need a new HU with and aux. input. How's the sounds quality on this thing? thats the only thing im worried about.

the system has integrated audio and no pci slots on the board. .. . .so you are kinda limited. . . .but it sounds as good as any other integrated audio that i have ever heard. . . . no problems here. . . .

got a bracket made and its secure now. . . . woo hoo not the prettiest thing. . . .but its all outa sight and secure

In my opinion, the system is too big. The inverter sucks and I would rather use an M1 or M2 smart psu. I have experienced that GPS software and it sucks as well. That GPS receiver is the worst ever as well. The BU-353 beats it any day. I know that it's cheap, but you will end up paying about the same if you went with your own system since eventually you'll end up replacing a lot of its components.

The inverter is cheap looking but worked fine for me untill i accidentally killed it. . . .As for the other componets i have had no problems with anything. . .

this is a LOW END system and is not going to come with all the best stuff. . . .but for a starter system. .. . .i still do not see how you can go wrong. . . .heck they are selling them now standard with lilliput's for not much more thatn you would pay for the lilli and the shipping. .

Hey guys, thinking of picking one of these up. Would one of you who has one check and see (or tell me if you know) if these computers are ACPI compatible (ie so I can use a start up/shut down controller with one). I believe the device manager should have the info in it.

I know most XP PC's are, but its worth a check. Thanks.

I belie you have to add ram and HD- upgrade to dc to dc PSU and a case add a Monitor-250 and I think you might have a similar deal- smaller in sixe and have a few upgradeable options?
Am I wrong?
