Centrafuse, TPMS 2.1.0.9 and Vista

...don't get along well together...lol This is Vista, not SP1, although I did install the SP1 upgrade, and issues with CF were worse in my case.

The plugin installs fine, and works fine, reading the data properly.
But after some time, CF becomes unresponsive. Not technically 'unresponsive' (as in the task manager), but inputs to volume, etc don't do anything...right away. After some seconds pass (30 or 40), the input is registered and executed however. CF continues functioning as far as playing media/NAV/etc...

When CF is restarted, more often than not, it restarts in this non-responsive state immediately...until the plugin is removed.

After I install the plugin, I configure the wheel assignments and change BAR to PSI and set my pressure ranges...prior to changing these settings, CF seems fine, however it might be a coinsidence, as it only take a minute to change.

I will however, retest without any changes to the options, in case the issue is caused by maybe the PSI conversion or the tire reassignments, just to be sure...

I'll report back later today...

Is there a more recent CF plugin available for testing?

Here is the last log file from the TPMS....I see errors, but that's all I know. Anyone care to have a look?

I just replaced my 'bad' sensor with a brand new replacement from Portal Media...and it's not being 'read' by RRTMS either!
Is there maybe something wrong with RRTMS and the front/right sensor programing?

Okay, my fault...I forgot to change the sensor assignment to 'sensor 5' for that wheel...it's programmed now, BUT...
I did a master reset on the board, and began relearning all the sensors. All of them are 'learned' now except my right rear!!
This was the sensor that came detached from the stem and spent some time tumbling in my wheel...
Is it destroyed?? It didn't look damaged...aren't the electronics expoxied? Think the battery came loose or something?

Can the system be used with 2 'spare' sensors, if I have to replace another one?

Sorry for leaving you hanging there. I know I answered this for you in an email but better to let everyone else know as well. Spare sensors and the sensors you get in your kit are identical. If you were to damage any one of your sensors you can replace it with a spare and relearn that particular sensor. The sensor is one solid piece with potting on the inside and the battery cannot be replaced, after about 5 years you will have to replace the actual sensors.

Hmm, I am quite interested to know what is going on in particular with your system. There are now hundreds of users that are using this plug-in and device who have no issues at all. I know its kind of a stupid question but have you fully updated Centrafuse? I was having some lock up issues with the previous version of CF but not with the latest version.
