    pretty cool kit. im assuming the PIC could do the conversions for Fahrenheit and PSI.

    Did you just hook the PIC up in place of the LCD and use that to get get the information?

    I'm thinking that something like this won't be cheap for a while now....but $282.50 is not pricey....it might be out of the range that you want to spend, but it's not pricey by any means.

    However, I'm VERY interested in this. You will have a PM shortly Robby.

    looks like an equivalent kit.. Trying to dig up more info on it, but if Robby interfaced his like I think, then we can do the same with this one..

    It's a little more complicated.
    I've cut out the receiver from the original display board and I've conected it to the pic, which samples all the data received and, when a correct packet is received (right sensor ids and right CRC), it stores the data in the internal E2PROM ready to be transfered to the pc by the USB post.
    All the datas are stored as was received, all the conversions are made by the software in the pc and depend of how the program is configured.

    Theoretically is possible do it with every kit, but it requires a change in the pic firmware.
