if you dont have a line in, thats where my new product comes into play
its just a simple usb audio device, im not 100% happy with it, but thats Texas Instruments fault
but it would work fine for ya
better in vista/win7, then in xp... in some aspects
now that connector...
its a mini-fit jr
looking at it with wires exiting rear. clip on bottom
1 = 12v switched
2 = empty
3 = 12v constant
4 = GND
I have plenty of these connectors, i could make u up one
1 & 3 can be tied together, and connected to 12v constant or 12v pc power(yellow on hd connect)
since power is also trigged via rs232 connection
gogo mitch, thanks for fixing my diagram, i knew i had something backwards, but it's hidden away behind soldered wire and digging it up usually results in cuts on my hand because my car doesnt like me >.>

G = gnd
C = constant
* = open
A = Accessory
I have Centrafuse 3 and it says that this hardware is supported, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it to work. Has anyone tested it out? Any tips? Also from the looks of it you can still get standard channels through this as well correct? (non-hd standard am/fm radio)
Thanks in advance for any help.
Note: I have the VISTEON HDZ300 installed VISTEON HDZ300 and a http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ef=oss_product running from it to the cable. Hoping the extension cable will work. Haven't messed with serial cables much so not to sure on how to test it either. I tried plugging the extension into the controller that comes with the VISTEON to just test the cable and unit, but nothing when I hit the power. This should work shouldn't it? Or is the cable missing some pins or are any wires flipped?

i assume you have my interface cable?
just get everything working with say HD PCR application
Are you out of cables again? I'm getting "Product not found!" on your website.
yep all gone...
im gonna make more... a buddy just secured a bunch of tunas
and sucked em all up
So I got it working with the HD PCR application and the interface that comes with the HD radio, now I just need to figure out how to get it to work in Centrafuse 3.0.
Has anyone got it working in Centrafuse and if so what are your settings.
I am guessing the key setting is Device under settings > Advanced > am/fm Radio.
yes... and and chosing right audio line, which can be an issue in CF
So what device would I choose, I didn't seem to see one that made sense.
