Basically it monitors pin 5 on my serial port and when AMP_CTRL turns on, it activates pin 5, then that activates the PAC TR-4, then you connect that to the antenna. Thing is, I dont know about power antennas or how they work. I simple low power sencing relay may also work in place of the PAC TR-4.
Here which wire need to tap into...

thats not going to work... the radio is always on... IF done right, ie in RideRunner, and CF
you need to raise your antenna when the radio is ACTIVE

my 1st question is this a car with a raising and lowering power antenna? you dont seem them much anymore
    -Thanks

well... there is no simple solution then...
i did a USB Relay plugin for CF, i cannot recommend the USB relay again
because its design does not follow USB current consumption
unless you are removing all power from the USB system at shutdown...
there is another option of USB relay on ebay, but i of course dont know if its made right
till i have one in my hand

    works, but cannot reccomend:

can make work, but unknown if designed right:

Boomzbox vs. Visteon & cable by Mitch

My apologies if this has been covered already... but this is a looooong thread and I couldn't read it all three years of it!

I'm looking for an HD radio solution. What's the best solution that is controllable from RR and/or CF? A Visteon with Mitch's cable ($115 amazon + $25 Mitch + $15 USB dongle= $165) or a Boomzbox from mp3store ($185 w/shipping)?

Are they equal in terms of Frontend functionality? Boomzbox has the advantage of being USB, saving the hassle of a serial converter
