on glass antennas typically are amplifed, may need to turn on its amp, or its built into the factory head unit... rendering it useless for others

Hey Mitch,

I am waiting for your cable, but already have the Visteon unit. It works great connected to the stock antenna of a '02 Civic with the faceplate. Can't wait for the cable and to try it with RR!

i dont know, but the good news is they did buy a cable from me!!!
i havent been contacted by them for any help...

need to make a post in centrafuse forum, asking for HD Radio!!

fyi, they supply of cables will run dry, maybe today...
and it takes a bit of time for me to get more made up...
main reason is, my boards come from china, and china factory been closed since feb 3, and till feb 14 i think, due to chinese new years!

must been nice to get off a WEEK for new years!

I am going to be ordering my 2nd cable very soon, has the supply dried up yet?

I just scored another Visteon for 18 bux on ebay

Going to implement it into a HTPC, also will be nice for developing/testing RR skins in the house.

I received your cable this morning. Thanks for your continuing support and the immediate shipping.

After resolving the problems of the RR config not adding the HDRadioport=x line in the RR.ini, I added it manually and it works great with RR. Just needed to fiddle with the line-in volume so it matched the volume of my MP3s/Video.

However, I cannot tune to the HD sub-channels. I am using DigitalFX's newest skin, but I can only tune to the standard channels. Am I doing something wrong? or is this a skin issue? Perhaps I should ask JohnWPB. Is it possible to add the sub-channels as presets somehow?

Anyway, even without the sub-channels, this is the best thing yet.

Please note, that my friends have ironically pointed out that my multi-year carputer project has resulted in me finally having AM/FM radio, something that comes stock with the Civic until I yanked out the head unit

LOL, but I didn't have MP3s, Video, GPS, and bragging rights that I have a 'puter in my car.

Thefdog, i dont know that skin... but test everything with my application... HDRadio PCR on my site, download section...
id think that digitalFXs skin should have a sub channel select
