in my setup, is a soft tump, and its not that loud, and if it really bothers you
start designed a circuit that keeps the audio disconnect, or gnded, till x amount of time goes by...
that would work

there is a mute control line, i did mess with it...

and now i messed with it again... i can now power it up without ANY noise!

its more components... and change to code... if you want PM me.. and lets get
you a bit of code and a cable with the change, and u can test
i hope u can do a quick solder... its damm easy!
(the real work is in the code)

im ready to go...

jayrod, u did hook up the power right? yellow = 12v constant, red = 12v switched, black = gnd

then make sure ur comports are ok, on pc

Just got the visteon HDRadio installed and working yesterday with your cable. Had to add the HDRadioPort=2 on my rr.ini. I have an XM unit thats using com 1. Too bad roadrunner can't run like your sweet PCR program and do a scan for the correct com port.

Which roadrunner skins seem to work the best with the the radio? I'm trying shock skin v.6, digital fx 2.? (don't remember), and carwings 1.0.

just mess with HDRadio PCR, get it from my site!

if its clicking when u runs HDRadio PCR, it should work

we can run a cable test, with hypertermial... if needs be, i TEST every cable i ship
so it should be good

Some updates:

NEW DLL, NOT A BUG FIX, BUT a feature add (for new rev of cable)

NEW HDRadio PCR, gets the new .dll and a small bug fix (available to dl on my site)

details about the revision on the cable soon... i will offer two options
1. do the SIMPLE change you're self (requires soldering)
2. send me the cable for FREE update (you just pay return shipping $2.50)

I will have to take some photos, of what has to be done... its easy
I will post the new .dll in a new thread in RR forum

also, any cable shipped from 3/7/08 will have the new rev, and needs the new .dll
(or u wont hear any audio)

EVERYTHING is BACKWARD COMPATABLE!! new dll will work on old cable... new hdradio pc works on old cable

Thanks mitch for staying active in development, this is probably one of the hottest additions ofr the car PC right now.

Looking forward to seeing your changes, pics, and testing the new DLL. (im not afraid to solder )

OMG Mitch, please tell me you sent me the revised cable!?!?!?!?!?!?! Thats what I hate about technology, so hard to keep up, lol.
