no centrafuse is not currently supporting it. I am using your program and I have heard it click, but kinda random. not when i open the prog. im really lost on this deal. I guess if im going to do the update i can check for n e possibly bad solder joints or n e thing of that nature. I'm not doubting your craftsmanship at all. But a bad solder joint does happen sometimes.

I think that I had responded a few posts back that, David (the creator of CF), is going to be working on a plug-in once he gets version 1.48 released. He has already purchased the Visteon and Mitch's cable, so it is most def' going to happen.

jayrod, i doubt solder...
are u using a usb to rs232? or a direct com port?
did you try another computer?
you dont need to do the update, its not gonna make it work, its only
for audio mute control
-
ya, i was just saying i DO want to do the update anyway. i will wait until it works though. i am using straight to com. the unit is already installed.....my laptop doesnt have a serial port but i guess ill have to find out that does to test it.

Usually how long does it take to recieve the cable, or in my case cables (XM and HD), once ordered?
-
Hey Mitch, just ordered one of the cables from you....just wondering if you have them in stock?
-
mitch i tried the cable on another computer and i noticed that you can hear it click when you unplug it from the computer. also when the computer start it clicks on and off randomly.....can you possibly send me a pic of the board/wiring so i can do a quick check. thanks
-
Received my cables today, excellent quality work, fast shipping and love the extras (audio cables, and power adapter plug for other cable). Thanx Mitch.

jayrod... u can kinda look at the pictures in the MOD instructions, in the post, in rr forum...
THE CLICKS ARE NOT RANDOM, sounds like its working fine!
your PC is touching the DTR line, during boot, prob looking for a mouse :)
no big deal
funny how i ask direct questions, and people dont answer them...
at least i think i asked this...
are you connect via USB adaptor or directly to a COM PORT?
and that COM PORT or USB COM PORT shows up in ports in device manager?
like i said before, i test EVERY one of them, and unless someone YANKED really hard, on the cable... it shouldnt ever fail... but if u want, get out a mag glass and check the solders... not many of them...
course u could do a simple simple cable check...
use a terminal program... UNPLUG the minidin from tuner, and short on the minidin pins 3 & 6 out... and type... everything u type will be echoed back
looking at a din connector pins toward u

I'm from the Netherlands and I'm thinking to buy the Visteon HDZ300 HD Tuner.
I was wondering if the analog reception is really as good as you guys claimed on this forum, if so, than this would be a serious alternative for the HQCT, that doesn’t quite live up to expectations.
Reaseon for asking is that here in Europe we don't have HD-FM we'll have to do with plain old analog FM, that's why I'm asking.
I hope you can answer this question.
Thanks!
