Mitch......stay calm.....no, that isn't what I am saying. I told you the other day that I run SD also with your radio interface in the background. Without even starting RR, the levels are back high (90 as you say).

also.... if DTR drops, the radio is OFF... so u cant really exit RR and keep the radio on...

but... if u need the level lowered, we can do it!

yea, i missed the SD thing... i didnt know what SD is (SORRRRRY)

its Street Deck.... i not fimilair enough with it... i know it doesnt directly control HD

That takes us back to the original post. I really don't NEED it fixed, at 5% gain, everything was working fine, but since this became such a big issue, we either have to work it out or avoid each other, and anyone that knows me knows I prefer option 1.

We HAVE to understand where the other is coming from.

So stay calm and lets work through this. ok?

Yes

5% doesnt give u much room to tweak

now, with RR set at 90, it should be distorted a bit
but my PCR, set it at 75, and that should be OK, its it too hot still?

Heck, they're entertaining, so doesn't matter to me. Past is past. And yes, I deleted that post on the other cable because I decided that was no better than some other things I have been criticizing here on another thread.

It isn't constructive and will just make things worse. The problem was that I really thought you were misunderstanding my issue and I was misunderstanding your responses. Early on, you said you could control the audio 100% in RR. After that, I never saw where you mentioned the Visteon.

5% gain really isn't that distorted. I still have 0-100% in RR. Anyway, let's move on.......is there a way to force mute line in (xm radio) using your RR? Meaning that when I switch from xm to hd it will mute xm.

ok, now... in my RR... when you switch to XM, i HARDWARE mute the XM
note im not mentioning the PC... cause i dont touch the PCs line IN
but RR does... when XM BECOMES INACTIVE, 2 things happen, the LINE in that is set in the RR.ini is muted, and my code tells XM HARDWARE to mute

and when XM is ACTIVE, everyone unmutes

SAME for HD Radio...

basicly, XM and HD are ALWAYS on, what u "HEAR" note "HEAR" depends on the PC's line in mute, and which radio is ACTIVE

in the NON my version of RR, distorted?, i found that max volume of 90 had some distortion...
but i use 75, which is the same as the visteon display
