    hi,

first I must say Great Job!!!!!

where did you get the touch signal from?
inside the unit or via the AInet plug or control out ??

I have a Alpine D301 and love to get my car pc on it now I use a second screen to control my car pc.

next on the list is working a way to interface with the 400X232 (W200,W205 etc.) displays if there is a calling for them. I can't find any info on the 301 as far as resolution if it's 800X480 your set(read owners manual to confirm) if it's less I'm sure we can build something but the quality will suffer due to the screens native resolution. Touch screen and complete system integration seems to be what people want. If there is a demand for it, we will build it! Priority is to get the higher res screens going first. the lower res screens should not be as hard I don't see demand being that much....someone please correct me if I am wrong!

I have sniffed the AInet and was not impressed with the limited capabilities of the bus. we do have control out in use (not white/Brown wires though) and plans are to have a plug in adapter between your Alpine screen and your PC. EASY adaptation to eliminate headaches and keep people from voiding warranties on their screens and A/V headunits by opening them!

I ordered another 740BT today so we have one on the bench for development and one dedicated for testing on different boards and in the mobile enviroment. we are doing all we can to get from development/testing to deployment ASAP!

    Take Care!!

    I have a 740BT

I have a Alpine 740BT already installed but have no touchscreen functions. I would love to get your device hooked up to my car pc. How long before you can deploy. How would you hook this up? Please let me know i could really use this adapter.

Anyone know for sure if the 740BT can control the Alpine PXA-H701?

If it can, this would be dyn-O-mite!

ccisat1rxp how are you currently connected to your 740? We are still in testing phase right now, so no ETA yet but we are hoping for SOON. We will keep posting to this thread with any updates.

Pockets, I dont think you can control the 701 with the 740 thats why it comes with its own controller.

    I have a 740BT

I am currently using the composite cable hookup from the 740 then converting to the vga connector with a converter cable. Picture is ok but not anywhere close to what it should be. I would interested if you guys needed another tester. i am currently using using an air mouse remote control to get around in the screen. Its also mounted in the flip up oem bezel for the bmw z4 nav screen. Hope i made sense on the connection part.

Our interface will give you much better video quality as well as touchscreen control.
