Nope, it's the simple "homebrew" interface I'm working on that is the issue.Quote:

-The Valentine interface from http://www.ttl2usb.com
However, it would be nice to have a simple desing using few components. Also, the interfaces above definitely won't work with the mute function I'll be adding, without some modification.
Well, I hope he isn't mad about it. Someone who isn't careful could definitely mess up their V1, and then send it in for a warranty repair or something. However, it would be really nice to get his input on the project. I know he uses some kind of software, and interfaces to a laptop to do testing on the V1s...Quote:

Hey Jim - just looking at the CT-29A "Programming Cable DB-9 to 3.5mm Stereo Plug" - one would just need to snip the stereo plug and replace w/ RJ11 then (obviously paying attention to the correct wiring order), correct?
$25 seems a good price rather than building your own. But mute functionality would also be very nice if you're going to these lengths to integrate the V1 into a car PC setup.
$10 + $7 shipping and already has the RJ11 for the electrically challenged, but as Jim said, no mute at this point..Quote:

Stupid question, but the TTLUSB cable is.. USB.. correct?
