Alas, I don't think I can get this up with Gnome Basic nor Mono, but if you ever feel like porting to realbasic, which will run on Win/Lin/Mac, here's a good resource:

actually, when I hit mute currently, that doesn't always mean that I wrote off the threat, sometimes i slow down and drive for a while before i get to it, but don't want to hear the loud beeps the whole way and just keep my eye on the arrow and bogey count.

could you make the mute/hide thing an option? does it currently autohide when there are no threats anyway?

hey does mute work with anyones cable yet? if so, i'd buy one from somebody!

Or possibly a user adjustable amount of time from when you mute it, to it auto minimizing.

There's an option to auto-hide after a few seconds of no activity.

Jim's interface/cable has mute and display, but so far, he's the only one. My interfaces have a working mute circuit, but not a display. I'm currently putting together the SMT version of the 6-transistor design (which should be exactly the same as the CT-29A) and since it's such a tight fit as it is, I'll probably move the mute circuit off the board and if there's room in the DB9 hood, maybe stuff it in elsewhere.

I agree that one may not always want to write off the threat completely, but there are a few locations that I pass where I can write off the constant X-band alerts.

"Video Mute" in S1 as an option at least would work, and just as an observation, the physical audio mute on the V1 unit still works with the CT-29, so even with "video mute" enabled, one could still mute just the audio.

Are you folks with the operating S1 also using the remote display?

Or do I have to give up the remote to run the computer program/interface?

You can still use your remote module, you just need to use a phone line splitter.

but you don't HAVE to use the remote do you? i would rather not use it at all if I can use my rf remote control to mute it with girder.
