    Grrr

Ok, so I bought a TTL2USB and the Valentine 1 adapter cable they sell for giggles to see how well it works (since I still haven't made a circuit board)...

Doesn't work. I've fried 3 fuses so far. I even put the remote display on for two of the times. Somewhat frustrating.

    Any ideas?

I'm still very disappointed. The "Valentine 1" cable that I bought from TTL2USB.com to accompany my TTL2USB still causes the fuse to burst when it's connected. It happens immediately.

    Jim, any ideas? Anyone else?

I don't know what would cause something like that, it shouldn't be blowing fuses under any circumstances that I can think of. Is it the V1 fuse that blows? Also, for it to blow, do both ends of the ttl2usb cable need to be connected, or just the V1 end?

I've been working on the software when I have time, but naturally since it is warm outside now I have been spending less time at the keyboard

Does anyone know of a circuit/interface that can be used make the V1 create a mute signal to mute the car stereo when there is an alert ?
