Valentine One to a PC

Esthetics's are everything!!! If you plan on marketing yours, if you want my money the screen HAS TO duplicate the V-1 faceplate, sounds and lights exactly. It has to popup on top of whatever is on screen. I would go so far as to say it needs an RR plugin and definitely have a button onscreen to mute the sound.

Yea, see im making the hardware, and maybe some basic frontend for it. I would expect (and hope) that others out there would make other frontends for it (Roadrunner, certafuse, etc). I would just release the hareware and how to talk to it.

Ive thrown together a basic front end today for testing purposes. I will add features to this as needed, but for know it just for helping me test.

Got it muting and changing mode. Just finishing up the software display. I have the first pcb version ordered. Im now just researching the best manufacturer for the production version.

Thanks. Yea the design is done and I have a PCB on order so I can test it before I batch order some and have them assembled. The software is like 90% complete. Just a few more things and it should be good to do everything the real concealed display does.

Once I have the first small batch built (5 or so) etc I will see if anyone wants to buy them and if I should put in a larger order or not. Im really not sure how much demand there is for this anymore.

FYI, if anyone has a good name for this it would be appreciated

This sounds awesome. I've been looking for something like this to add radar to my carpc.

Regarding the plugins for frontends, it shouldn't be too hard. Zorro over at the centrafuse forums would probably be willing to help you with one for CF.

Hi everybody

I see alot of you searching for a place to install the remote display, So i decide to build an electronic project to send the data of valentine 1 to Nokia mobile via bluetooth.

In this case you can put valentine 1 at any place in the car and connect my device with 12v source to it and you can see all data of V1 in your mobile with bluetooth.
Do you find this interesting and worth to build ????
