I would suggest against it. I am the owner/creator of the v1connect (http://www.v1connect.com/) and due to such a low demand for this product it has not been worth while to manufacture anymore. I too developed a bluetooth version but the cost to produce it would make the demand even lower than the serial version.

Thanks MattJackson86 for your responding, I download V1connect and also another similar program and really i like them but its rear to find who got carpc and to put laptop in the car is not convenient.
Instead i will use mobile phone with bluetooth so i can put Valentine one in the back, inside hood or hidden at any place in the car.
Another thing i will use built-in GPS to turn V1 to act like escort 9500 where you can provide it with a list of door openers' locations ( K-band ) so it turn to mute state and don't give any alarm for about 100m before and after the position.
Also you can add any place to the list easily by just pressing a button.
Last thing i will use mp3 files to say name of the alarming band ( K,Ka,X or laser ) by voice.
The total cost will be 75$ + shipping

What do you think folks ?

Sounds like a great plan. I had the same ideas for gps integration with my v1connect centrafuse plugin. There is also this already for the iphone: http://radaractive.com/

Itsa great idea, I just dont know if the demand is there. The V1 is not the only radar detector out there so its already a limited market.

seems to me that a bluetooth V1connect would have a much larger market if there were apps for the mobile platforms, not just PCs.
TruckPC - gutted, being used for test setup
BoatPC - All in 1 in cuddy, N7 using VNC on dash, RR
    BlazerPC - Nexus 7 with Timur's USBROM

    V1BlueShark

If you got Valentine One and get nervous from false alarms, Do you compare V1 with Ecort 9500 with GPS............... V1BlueShark is almost done................, Bluetooth works nice with my Nokia N78 , You can add unlimited number of POIs
( Radar or Mute) easily by importing a file to mobile.
You can get from Trapster web site this file contained all places of radars.
You can use V1BlueShark without GPS built-in but in this case you will loose some options, By the time you can also use V1BlueShark without Valentine One (but with built-in GPS) to know the places of radar from file.
The Surprise is the price *** 75$ ***
Now in Nokia Symbian mobiles but soon will be in android cells too.
A website will be published soon containing pics and video.

I think I read that you had 50 boxes made, do you still have any left? If so, do they support the mute function and do you mute it from the V1 or can you do so from a touch screen?
