    To make this work the original PIC16F628 in the exsiting Aricon unit will also need change.

    Hello all ,

    If you have the capability to Program a chip and make the above cuircut then this is free for you.

    Shall post two hex file MASTER and SLAVE and PCB file

    Master goes in the Aircon unit (u can use the existing chip just erase and reprogram)

    Slave goes in the above cuircuit.

    Pin 1 of slave goes to pin 16 of master thats all there is for connection...

    Just stumbled across this project so forgive dumb questions...

    Any reason why I should not use a R/C electronic speed controller to determine fan speed instead of a servo actuating the original controls?

    This would in theory allow for finer control of blower speeds in auto mode, and more choice around selecting the three manual speeds.

    Nothing is free ! U will have to buy the parts and make the addon curcuit...
