    Two questions:
    1. How long until version 2 is availabe for sale on your website?
    2. In reading the documentation on your website you refered to the limitation of the product if you have more than 5 positions for vent location is this a limitations of the software or hardware?

Ok, I want one of these Ver 2... so I'll be keeping an eye out, I was think about doing this exact thing in my Eclipse using servos and such to move the controls, sure glade I looked here first....

Since your updateing to ver 2 and software up dates as well, any chance for a fahrenheit degree listing instead of Celsius, you know us americans we dont know metric

I read that new in this version will be nine extra On/off controlls, could this be used to control... say Windows/sunroofs motors? Once I ahve the CarPC controlling the AC I would like it to be able to roll the windows up/down and open/close the sunroof If this unit can do both AC and windows that would be GREAT, then I just need to fingure out how to get the PC to work the lights (head, rear, turn indacators ), wipers, and alarm interaction

I am using LM35 as the temp sensor... so if you replace it with LM34 its pin identical and is for fahrenheit. As i dont get it in India i cant say how it will work. But should work fine as long as the temp is in 2 digit.

    cheers

    Well its al done .......

The software is ready and so is the hardware.

    Works like a charm.!

Aircon Unit in KIT form Price 110 euro (Shipped DHL with tracking)
Aircon Unit Assembled Price 150 euro (Shipped DHL with tracking)

I shall have a full DIY details on my site as always.. if you know to solder then your good to go

Lots of changes from the earlier version.

    I fianlly got 9 output.

The unit shall have both servo and output connection can be decided in the setup section.

Here are the picture of the prototype working Aircon Unit V2. this is just temp.

The final Unit shall be a little different. The big black relay has been replaced

    Features:~

    Five fan mode
    F1 ~ F2 ~ F3 ~ F4 ~ FAUTO

Two temp sensor (One for inside the vehicle and another for ouside)
Just one touch will show you the external temp on LED display.

Three servo connection (Circulation, VENT & HEAT)
Nine outputs (All ground. 5 for Vent position 2 for Heat and 2 for circulation)
Use of Output or servo can be selected via software settings.
So if servo is used then you have (outputs at your disposal for other things.(Software needs to be altered)

Any RC5 protocol remote can be programmed to work. (Phillps type TV, Video, etc...)

    Fully miccorcontroller based.

    Works via serial port.

Power input range 10~15 (Will work in unregulated +12V)

    Polarity protection.

    Enjoy for now.

I'm interested Mastero. count me in.

What is the difference between the KIT and the assembled form (approx. U.S. $70.00 difference in price)? I have a Jeep Wrangler with 3 dial type controls....one for a 4 speed fan, one for temp control, and one is for air setting. The air settings control is a 8 position switch as follows:
    1-off
    2-closed vent a/c
    3-fresh air a/c at face
    4-fresh air a/c at face/feet
    5-fresh air vent at face
    6-fresh air vent at feet
    7-fresh air vent at feet/defrost
    8-fresh air vent at defrost

With my situation, which unit do you suggest I purchase? If anyone else has the same controls and has delt with this, please chime in.

This looks like my only option to have a decent size monitor and still keep my air vents where they are.

    Many thanks in advance.
