    From the above pics //

Your system is vaccum even for ac and circu... but there is a switch which electronically controls the air flow more like a solonide switch or relay type.(The big thing with yellow tape) so when power is applied it opens or closes the vacum supply. If its this way then your good to go.

    Check and let me know

yeah, im pretty sure i can get it to work in one way or another. im not ready to purchase yet, was just curious.

me in school = poor bum

maybe sometime in a couple of months i will be ready to purchase. i dont suppose that if i only wanted one temperature sensor and no external led display you could knock a couple dollars off huh?

i know it would probably be extra hassle thats not worht the small savings but let me know.

if the program is written in vb you can just throw the centigrade temp value into an equation to spit out farenheit. im sure you can in other things, its just that i know how to do it in vb, so i know it could be done.

Maestro you live up to your name. Looks awsome...

Is the user manual old or new? I live in a colder area, wondering if there is a compressor cut of with v2 of your design?

    Thanks.

PS Anyone done an install on a Nissan s15 200sx or the similar?

    Cheers.

    Nick.

    Thankyou,

The Ver 2 is completely new with new manual etc...

Yes compressor Cutoff can be set at a specific temp say 20 then when temp reaches 19 it cuts off the compressor and when the temp reaches 20 it starts again. Can also be switched on and off manually.

    Cheers

dunno much about a/c but is that the same way climate ctrl works? ive been thinking of getting jdm s15 1din climate control for my skyline but if this can do everything that unit can do (perhaps more?) then ill just get this.

This unit is based on the same concept with the requirement for PC connectivity via serial port.

So one can have climate control on the finger tips

    "BUT"

One should be able to wire it up. and be familiar with the A/C system of the Vehicle working with.

Belive me its not that hard.... just need common sense.

I have read the thread and have not seen anything on this yet. Will the system work with Dual Climate Control? Also I like the display that is on my hvac unit. Is there any way to get the temp and vent settings to display on the monitor. If this is not possible could it be adapted to use the digital display from my hvac instead of the 2 digit display. I am very new to this scene so please bear with me on this. pic of current hvac. car is a 99' Corvette

what your talking about is very possible, but would never fit in within the scope of this project, which is designed to be as universal, & there for widely usable by many.... yours would require quite a bit of custom work to pull off, & then it wouldn't be good for anyone else but you or the real slim chance someone else with a similar setup might... a one off setup built especially for you with no real universal appeal would cost you way more than these kits.... but possible
