H3rk Wow so many questions in one go

Three digit change can not be done with the software is hard programmed in the software of IC-C

    All outputs are ground.

I dont understand what you want to do.?

These are gonna be made in batches of 20nos first batch is up for sale.

No the preset can not be altered as its hard coded in the Microchip. The software is just there to send commands to the unit not change any settings of the unit.

Current drawn shall be posted here and updated in the manual.

There are no mounting holes. Find a space and drill your own as per your needs. Thats why i kept this as a single side PCB.

All connectors are included with housing and pins. You will have to just make your own cables.

    Phew .. any more questions

    Cheers

Aircon-2 coms in a DIY KIT form only. What happened to the already made ones? I mean I can solder a little but my skills are very limited.

Ok one more stupid question, i just read the manual and it seems you either have to use all servos or all switchs if u dont modify the software. Is that how its setup?

If you want readymade that can be done for a charge.

In the settings page u can chose which servo to use by selecting the desired servo.

Meaning you can have servos for vent but output for heat and circulation. It can be done.

so this couldn't be done? or something more correct, but along the same lines?:

Dim TC 'Temperature that comes from card'
    Dim TF 'Temperature in F'

    TF is (TC*9/5)+32

    Check Box in Settings
Yes= display TF for all temps
No= display TC for all temps
or maybe Dim TU 'or something similar' use it for all displayed temps and:
    Yes then TU = TF
    No then TU = TC
temperatures sent from the software to the card would have to be in C I assume (ie for the compressor settings)
so those temps would have to be converted back and rounded before sent to the card.
???????????? Pretty please, tell me this is possible. (no lies)
As for the question that you didnt understand:

I have, as I have stated before, one servo in my system. It is a servo amplifier that utilizes any voltage from 0-12V and provides a corresponding position (Analog). There are in theory infinite positions between the 0V and the 12V set positions. I would prefer to control this servo with an analog 0-12 volt signal. I know there is hardware made by a company in canada I think, their products are called Phidgets. The phidgets are I/O devices that can be controlled by software (VB6 and similar are listed on the site) via usb. One of the products they produce, provides analog output.
I want to know if its possible to modify the software you provide to send the control temperature to a seperate device like this phidget. I want to know if I can set up a new control associated with this output that provides more temp settings (lets say 10)to control the temp door more precisely, and I want to know if a slider control can be set up in addition to up/down arrows to control this temperature.
So in short, is it possible for this VB6 program to be modified to read/write to/from other usb hardware?

Thanks for your quick and thorough reply to my previous questions

    h3rk ...

Lets get one thing clear the software is there just to send command to the Unit. It can not modify a Microchip's preprogramed software. ITS IMPOSSIBLE!

If you want a three digit display, changes has to be done from inside the Microchip software and even the hardware changes.

If you want F then i suggest using LM34 with the current setup it will display the temp in F but 99 is the max deg it can display.

As for the phidgets thing it is not possible with the current setup.

You can modify the current setup to control a servo from 500 to 2340 steps 180 deg movment. for tis u will have to modify the software.

From what I can see '500 to 2340' are possible servo positions, what I need are greater than 5 preset positions within that scale.
What is the maximum number of positions that I can send to the servo driver (with software modification). I see in the manual that there are 5 positions under 'Set Temp Locations' in the Climate Control Settings. Is it possible to have more or is that a limitation?
Is the software open source? I think I remember reading previously that it was/would be.

Seems to me that the software also provides some user interface functionality. It communicates temperatures to the user, in addition to controls.
All I was wondering was if those displayed temps on the UI can be manipulated only for display purposes on the screen my theoretical software mod would leave the temps communicated to the hardware in C.
