Webmaster,
I have sent you a couple of emails requesting a power supply built. I was wondernig if i sent you a spare AC adapter that i have for the laptop, could you create a power supply with a connector that would plug right into my laptop?
I am hoping to avoid the teardown, and soldering of my laptop.
Ahh, ok thanks man.
Updated a few pics (still need to update a few of'm) and some of the information.
Cheers & Happy Holidays Everyone![]()
Ok, after even more additional questions / confusion, the schematic for my Auto Power On Module has been updated and more information added.
Cheers
Hey mate, the design is ace. Been tryin to build one, but struggling on which relays to use? Im in the uk so only have access to http://www.maplin.co.uk and http://www.rapidonline.com cant work out whether the ones that these company supply, are normally open or closed? Any advice? thanks
This is pretty sweet... I'll have to give it a try....... Nesxt would be a delayed auto off..

Carputer works... but will never be complete....
That would be Windows power managementlol
..well, if you're using it on a PC...![]()
I'm using a laptop with no battery, running off an inverter... the inverter 'on' signal is from my deck.... at the moment, I have to turn off/Hybernate the PC manually using the power button I mounted on the cash... but I'd like to install an off-delay relay for the inverter and a pulse relay from the ingnition....
So the pulse will be for the power button and the off-delay will be for the inverter on signal and it would need to be on for about 15 seconds.... long enough for the PC to hybernate...
That's what I need to do.... I know how and what I need to do it... but some of the parts are expensive and I don't have time to do it right now, so it'll have to wait until next summer..
But I like your auto on function... I'll have to try that sometime... and thanks for sharing the circuit...
