What are you looking for? If you're looking for one of my laptop auto power on modules, just check out the first post and/or my website. I build and sell those. As far as the other circuits that have flooded this thread I have no dealing with.

    Peace.. The W3bMa5t3r

Just out of interest, if anyone wants a piece of software that can shutdown/restart/stanby/hibernate the laptop when the AC is removed, check it out here...

    ShutControl - http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=901994#post901994

It doesn't appear there is a piece of software like this yet (or I haven't seen it), so its perfect in conjunction with your shutdown controller. But, it does require the AC Power to turn off when the IGN goes off.

Exclamation I do build these Laptop Auto Turn On / Power On Modules

Just to clarify things since this thread has become cluttered with other posts/circuits and I've been getting numerous emails/pms about this... The circuits and modules that I talk about in the first post (and to about post 39) are the ones I build and support. Please check out my website for more information, testimonials, faqs, etc...

Ok. After reading all 5 pages, this module doesnt have an auto hibernate function? Please correct me if I am wrong.

When can you release modules that have both features?

You are correct, my module does not have that feature and I'm sorry, but I really haven't gotten around to trying to add it. I have a million things going on and Windows can be configured to go into hibernate as soon as a laptop is unplugged (turning the car off and the power supply) so it hasn't been at the top of my list of things to do.

    later...

Am I to understand it doesn't bring a laptop out of standby? Only hibernation?

The module simulates/duplicates pressing the power button. So it should bring the system out of either
