Well for 1000 bucks i would rather have a transflective screen and some extra money ... If more people saw the difference I am sure they would also.

I believe that issue has already been discussed.

The great OZ hasn't spoken it can be brought up again.. lol

I think if this unit was more like 200 - 300 bucks it would be better. That way we could throw a 350 transflective upgrade from motorcity into it and have a good solution. For 1000 bucks I know I can do better than this can ever hope for. Wanted to make the point.

Sounds like this monitor isn't for you then! If we mass produced tens of millions of them they would be around $200-$300, but we're not. Your figure is not at all realistic.

Transflective will be an option in the coming months.

Transflective option would be nice Brett. Really would. My dash angle is almost going to require it I think.

    Waiting patiently...

I agree! It's a costly endeavor to go transflective, but I agree that it's well worth it. The main problem is finding a company who can do the modification properly, and reliably, every time. I've looked into FPD Group, but they don't respond to emails or phone calls. I think we'll stay away from them. Any other suggestions?

Can't say that I do, and certainly not for mass-production purposes. I'm sure someone does - let's hope they see this thread...
