    Mark,

I'd hate to see you go another route. I would suggest waiting about 3 days to hear more. We are currently awaiting word that will give us some sort of an idea on how things will go as far as a production timeline. No guarantees, but we are getting close. As of now we're waiting on some electronic details to get sorted out (I believe I mentioned an interference problem we were having earlier) that will directly affect when we can begin production. At the very least if it turns out that it will be another month, we'll be able to let you (and everyone else) know.

    Stay tuned!

OK, no problems will hang on a few days more. I got the quote back from the UK distro, and it was more or less $2000 with 120Gb HD & CD/DVD with 1Gb RAM. They would only warranty the box if they fitted the bits, which contradicts buying barebones?

    ...anyway, I will hold on.

ive got my setup already finished, but this seems like this would have been a better solution. once its out, i might start looking into this as a replacement for my setup so i can make my carputer more of a removable setup.

i know this has been asked/mentioned a few times, but doing a search for keywords like "screen" in the topic will turn up way too many results. but what screen is this going to use? im sure its going to be a 6.5" screen. be good to know in case it is damaged during instalation.

Quite frankly, I don't see people using all four RCA inputs. The reason there is four is because we had the room to put them on the board, and the chip supported it. Someone might have a use for it. Some ideas for them are backup camera(s), gaming systems, video iPods, stock navigation units, DVD players, or anything else...
