Production Double-Din VGA Touchscreen in the making!

that i know of like that, but it is running vista and has specs that seem like a bit of a power hog compared to what I have build or would want. Plus I like building my own. Oh and it is like $2,000 or something ridiculous. Just wish there was a monitor out there like that.

there is currently a number of complete double din pc that i know of such as RevoSys (X300) and Lilliput (TC3000) that u may want to check out, only if to get ideas from it in building ur own :D

Yeah the problem is I just want the touch screen and dvd not the entire carpc. I want to build the carpc myself (actually already have). I have found tons of full carpc's that fit double din, just no monitor dvd combos. I could even put a monitor and dvd tray in if I had the casing. That is why I was so excited when I saw this product, then they ran out of money. I suppose I could find someone to make me a fiberglass casing, but I am guessing that would cost a pretty penny, guess it wouldn't be anymore then this product, but I would still need to buy the drive and monitor and put it all together. Oh and I would need to find a monitor to fit it, cause that is tricky to find a monitor and drive that together will fit a double din slot.

Not exactly I want one with the same layout as the one he was designing. No moving parts dvd/cd tray exposed while the monitor is exposed as well (side/by side). Like this: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/user...ml#post1007660

Only I don't care about the buttons. I would be nice to hook one up as the on switch, volume... but that is what the touchscreen is for so I am fine with just the disk slot on top and the touchscreen (no moving parts).

That is what I am really looking for.

I think theyll release a non motorized flipdown as well.

I think having the disc slot external would make the screen much smaller.
7" looks kinda small already.

This is the only DD sized screen i've found so far that fits my requirements.

nice i like there screens i sent them an email about what they have in the works and will and if they have widescreen models coming out
