W3bMa5t3r wrote the program and maintains the web site for viewing the routes. Though he used to be one of the most active members of the forum he hasn't posted on the forum for over six weeks. I don't know what's going on with him, but it's entirely possible this plugin is no longer usable.
Just got my UID from w3btracker's support team (W3bMa5t3r) ... works great!!
happy new year to all
I received my UID a few hours after sending the request 2 days ago. I sent an email about some errors on the page and he fixed them by the time I got the UID.
Theres are some issues:
web page
web page script errors, map stops showing after moving it from its center location, markers wont show information when clicked, cant delete more than one point at the same time
win client
overflow errors after resuming from hibernation, high CPU use for periods of time
Give it a try and request your UID. He may not be very active on the forum but he responds to your requests very fast. Even with these issues I still think his system is pretty cool.
when i upload the gps .txt file i get line errors ,and when the tracker is launched i see that the speed is 10-60 km when the car is not moving
could be that the data is corrupt?
i use xport3 for the signal.
even when i use direct data output from the gps reciever it doesn't work this is the error i get when i try to upload the gps data see :inserting line AND line inserting error
New Puter, clean install, W3btracker v2.2.1.1 Delorme serial splitter feeding RR, D3, and w3btracker. Program loads well, gets tracking data, live uploads work, offline tracking works great.
A question on aesthetics - can you combine the Start/Stop buttons into toggles that change name depending on the state of the setting, i.e., when live tracking the single button says "Stop Live Tracking" and once clicked it changes to "Start Live Tracking". Same for offline tracking and you could then increase the size of the buttons for us fumble thumbs.
Uploading current log gives no indication of anything happening. Maybe feed each line thru the "GPS Data Sentence Window" or blink a statement in the "Program Status" window, then send, and end with displaying a message there when upload is complete (eliminating the current pop-up completion message).
Every now and then I get an error message but I never have time to capture it. Maybe this weekend on my roadtrip to KC I'll catch it (looks like something to do with online tracking with no active internet).

I actually haven't done any work on the standalone W3bTracker in a while. My latest release was the W3bTrackerRR plugin for integration into RoadRunner (the link to that thread is in the first post). I'm hoping to get around to updating the standalone before toooo long.![]()
