Ok, guys. Here is a very good news about b-testing units - i found new shipping partner- now shipping is 60$ for Europe and 70$ for USA/Canada. For serious b-testers the price of b-testing units will be reduced- I think that the total price with shipment will be 150-160$ - it's not a big problem - i am not marketing, i am b-testing %) .
Now about configurable Controller - now i am working with this Idea, I have started to develop a new code for new controller. Also i think there will be communication with PC, like in the DSATX. But the real pain is to redesign PCB for new controller. When this work will be done? - don't know yet - it's like a hobby and i am spending my free time on it, but i haven't enough free time for this because i have a lot of job, but i love this "hobby"
So - b-testers could simply use any external SDC.

Any progress?

Ok guys. B-testing was perfect. Now i am working on the new controller, and i think it will be ready soon
So during b-testing we found some things in construction - not critical ,but i have redesigned them to make all PSU better . So here is a pic of latest 3.1 version.

Hmm............

Have you investigated the "brainstem" interface that the dsatx uses? It may give you an idea of which way to go.

Oh .... i forgot to say about it - sorry. Yes there will be an interface, but you don't need to buy any "brainstem" adapter - all included, i think it will be a very nice benefit.

I only mentioned the brainstem to possibly give you some ideas, not that you needed to use a brainstem per se.

Pilot 400w 12v atx power supply is FULLY ISOLATED TYPE - no more “ground loops” and speaker buzzing when using PC, if you has connected it right. It’s designed to work with a wide variety of main boards such as AMD, Pentium-M, Celeron or full power P4systems. Main boards must be ATX and ACPI compliant(NOTE:Some branded motherboards like Dell, has a 20 pin power socket which is not compatible to ATX , they needs in special adapter. ) The PSU is compatible with 12 volt battery system(9-18 v input voltage) . The computer power-up and power-down sequence is determined by the state of ignition(ON/OFF switch input). When it’s in off state- it doesn’t take any power from battery.
