i'd figure that u could change the skin=ipod in the dashPC.ini file, but wasn't sure if others would realize to do the same so i just kept it the same.

if you are talking about blue selecting in Edit control its a bug will change it.
there will also be some addtions and modificationsin the skin.in Sorry about that

just been reading ALL the post's.. god someones been busy. to convert hex #123456 to dec colours, just use the calc in windows in si mode, take the first 2.. ie FF input them as hex, and click Dec, it will say 255, then just do the other 2 pairs. I have yet to give this software a go, will try in the morning.. I think it would be a good idea, to base it on a pda gps system, like tomtom.. they have paid lots of money to guys to research and find out what most peeps want. I could do screen shots of the whole menu system they run if you like. It may give you some ideas anyway. They do use Fav's and the number 1 fav is very useful. When i've been to the states.. the roads seem to be built like a grid, but here in the UK they go everyway. Its very easy to get lost.. well it is for me.. and on tomtom, I tap the screen, choose fav's then home.. and hey presto it tells me where to go. Also I think you could donate more screen to directions alot of peeps use widescreens, so you could stick 1/3 for direction, speed etc. I will have a go at a skin later also. Keep up the good work.. and let me know if u want them screenshots.. also I have there .wav voice folder if you want predone directions ;-)

Fav/histroy will be there in the app in the near future. As of now if you put a comma seperated address to your home in the dashpc.ini (home = homeAddr), there is voice command "Computer take me home" to route you from your current place to home.Also I am working on VFD display to reflect the instructions from the windscreen.its Basically a mirror image of the direction sign and the distance to it.

Also Some Screen shot from tomtom would be great.

p.s just been having a think.. I assume you will be saving these fav's in a .dat file of some sort, is it poss to make the place this file is by setting the directory configurable in the .ini file.. this could be come handy if you want to set some up in the house, and save to a usb pen, then just stick it in and job's a good'un. I would of thought it would be something like

no | place | long | lat

only a idea :-)
