No, so the home icon doesn't show, I.e. so it is harder to accidently quit the program.

@stevieg That can be done but then how do we quit the app ? Or do you think its a better idea to put the quit button in the control panel and move any button form there to the main screen ?

From a users point of view, I think it would depend on whether your using it with or without another application. If it's running under MediaCar etc, then obviously the 'Home' button is best where it is, but if it's running on it's own then the quit button would be great in the control panel.

I think the quit button should be far less prominent. IN most cases, people will not want to quit, unless as stated, they are running it under MediaCar etc.

How about we work with stevieg 's first suggestion Quit on/off via ini file.
If in Ini file Quit is off. the quit button will be on the control panel and the gamma button on the main screen.
or else will be as it is now. Got a nice idea to implement it fast .

But once it works 'embedded' in MediaCar, you would use the MediaCar quit button to shut DashPC. So the exit button wouldn't need to be on the front page.
